BlackWood

BlackWood is a network- and technology-driven venture capital fund built for speed. Backing ambitious European founders at an early stage, they combine institutional discipline with fast conviction, moving quickly to identify and support companies with the potential to define what comes next.

Their team partnered with us to craft an updated visual universe that reflects that velocity. One that feels sharp, youthful, and in motion, capturing the pace and decisiveness behind a new generation of venture capital.

The idea led us to Sleipnir, Odin’s eight-legged horse and the fastest being in Norse mythology. A symbol of speed, decisiveness, and the ability to cross terrain others can’t. Because in this story, BlackWood isn’t the hero.Their founders are.
